I have been practising meditation in various traditions for over 20 years and have lots of experience facilitating groups. I am an experienced, qualified youth worker with a clear understanding of the needs of young people. I have worked with young people and families in distress within various educational and non-educational settings. I have used mindfulness in my work with very positive results. It is an evidence-based practice that can help reduce anxiety and improve your overall sense of well-being.
This six-week course uses a combination of mindful practices and creative arts. Each week we will be looking at a different mindful attitude to see how they can help you to see life's challenges in a different light. Meditation and Creativity are linked to our overall sense of wellbeing, and making time to fit them into your daily routines can really make a difference.
A fun workshop aimed at young people helping them to manage their emotions and stress. Offering practical strategies to self-calm and negotiate difficult experiences. This two-hour workshop can be delivered in both educational and non-educational settings.
